Our Commitment to Your Privacy

At Getwellson, we believe your family's health information is deeply personal. That's why we built Getwellson with a privacy-first approach: your child's health data never leaves your device.

Data We Collect

1. Health Data (Stored Only on Your Device)

The following data is stored exclusively on your iPhone using Apple's secure local storage. This data is never transmitted to our servers:

• Child profiles (name, date of birth, weight)
• Temperature readings
• Medication logs (type, dosage, timing)
• Symptom records
• Episode history and timelines
• Notes and observations

2. Analytics (Not Collected)

Getwellson does not collect analytics or usage data in the app.

• No crash reports or usage analytics are collected by us.

This matches our App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Getwellson is designed to minimize data collection. We do not collect:

• Your name or personal identity
• Your location
• Your contacts
• Your photos or camera access
• Any health data entered in the app

Data Storage & Security

Your health data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework, which keeps information securely on your device. This data is:

• Protected by your device's passcode and Face ID/Touch ID
• Encrypted using Apple's built-in device encryption
• Included in your iCloud backup only if you have iCloud Backup enabled for your device
• Deleted permanently when you delete the app

PDF Reports & Sharing

Getwellson allows you to generate PDF reports to share with healthcare providers. When you create and share a report:

• The PDF is generated locally on your device
• Sharing is done through Apple's share sheet (AirDrop, email, messages, etc.)
• We do not have access to or store any generated reports
• You control who receives the report

Children's Privacy

Getwellson is designed for parents and caregivers to track their children's health. The app does not:

• Collect personal information from children
• Allow children to create accounts
• Share children's data with third parties
• Display advertising to children

All data about children is stored only on the parent's device and controlled entirely by the parent or caregiver.

Third-Party Services

Getwellson does not share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We may use:

• Apple App Analytics: Anonymous crash reports and usage statistics

We do not use any third-party advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or data brokers.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Access: All your data is visible in the app at any time
• Export: Generate PDF reports of your data
• Delete: Delete individual records or uninstall the app to remove all data
